It’s the sort of place where familiar faces emerge alongside curious visitors, sharing moments over food that feels honest and grounded.
The flavors here are the real heart of the experience. Whether it’s the freshness of a lovingly prepared ceviche, the satisfying comfort found in a rich fish soup, or the bright, citrusy lift of a perfectly mixed Pisco Sour, each plate and glass tells a story. The menu whispers of Peruvian traditions with touches of locally inspired adaptations—bringing both the sea and the highlands onto your plate in a way that feels unpretentious yet deeply satisfying.
Sampling the food at Aji Limón y Canela is like exploring a map of home-cooked memories paired with lively street moments from Lima’s markets and family tables. From the subtle heat of ají amarillo sauces to the cozy heartiness of slow-cooked meats and traditional stews, the flavors invite curiosity and comfort in equal measure.
While the setting is casual, the experience offers a certain grounded joy in discovering a cuisine with layers—complex but never overwhelming, familiar but always welcoming. It’s a place to unwind with good company, to share stories over plates that feel like they bring a little piece of Peru's spirited soul to this part of Gran Canaria.

Very nice staff and service. We had three different dishes and all were nice and delicious. I also had a cake and it was nice. They serve self made lemon lemonade which my wife liked a lot. Overall highly recommend

Had a fabulous meal at this friendly and unpretentious restaurant. Excellent Pisco sours. Ceviche was absolutely delicious. Mains of beef and fish were also very tasty and filling.

Food 5 stars, atmosphere 3 star (like a cantine). - The Yuca is nice. Especially the yellow sauce! Unfortunately I don't know the name of the sauce. - Definitely try the fish soup. So good. - The ceviche tastes fresh and good. - actually went there to try the chicha morada. It's still stated on the menu but they didn't have it. :((

This is a very nice Peruvian dining option on the edge of Playa de Las Canteras in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The service was friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and the prices are pretty reasonable.
